Dan Pembleton CFA, MBA founded Accilent Capital Management Inc. in 2002 to provide investment advisory services for third party and proprietary funds, individual managed accounts, and structured investments. He has been working in the financial industry as a trader and portfolio manager for over 25 years. Nearly a decade of this time was spent with RBC Dominion Securities in institutional fixed income where he rose to the level of Vice-President Global Money Markets.
Mr. Pembleton is the Commodity Trading Manager (CTM) and Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) in addition to being Portfolio Manager for Accilent.
Mr. Pembleton’s education includes an Honours BA in Economics and Business from Brock University, an MBA from Western’s Ivey School of Business and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1998 from the CFA Institute.
Mark Taucar brings Portfolio Management expertise and an accomplished ability to develop investment platforms and products to Accilent Capital Management Inc. He has developed product solutions for Exempt Market Dealers, Mutual Fund Reps, Independent Financial Planners, Insurance Agents and IIROC registrants.
After attending University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Graham spent 27 years in the Edmonton, Alberta business marketplace. In 2007 Graham moved to Kelowna, BC.
Kat Inokai brings over 15 years of high level corporate marketing and communications strategy, project management and media production services to Accilent Capital. As VP of Communications, Kat focuses on providing fresh, unique, and interdisciplinary branding and communication strategies to Accilent products and services—and has been integral to their current market success.
Michael brings experience in accounting, technology, and project/process management to Accilent, helping to keep things flowing smoothly and within budget.
In her role as Office Manager, Fiona brings to Accilent an educational background in commerce accounting with a focus in operational organization. She oversees the streamlining of business systems and processes, client file management, and day-to-day operations.
As a member of the portfolio management team, Jens brings financial industry experience along with an educational background in finance, having earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University. As an Investment Analyst, Jens’ research and due diligence skills play an integral role to the entire Accilent team.
As a key player on the Marketing & Operations team, Nancy is a primary contact with investors, dealers and management. As a recent graduate from the University of Western Ontario, she has a background in Management and Organizational Studies where she specialized in Consumer Behavior and Minored in Chinese Studies.
